The Black Barn
The Barn is a restored, but essentially original, 17th Century building, situated in the village of Stansted in Kent. It is located in the heart of the village, next to the picturesque church of St Mary. The Barn is an exceptional venue for events of most types, including;

The barn can hold 80-100 people for a seated dinner and dancing. The following facilities are offered;

The surrounding area consists of unspoiled countryside with grass meadows and woodland - yet we are only 25 miles from Marble Arch in London. The setting of the Barn, gardens and surroundings provide a lovely setting for your wedding photographs.
Please note that the Barn is not licensed for wedding ceremonies, although we are close to several venues where you can get married.
Hiring and Charges
The Barn is family-owned and run, and we offer a friendly and flexible service. We encourage you to see the Barn as a blank canvas for your event and we are happy to discuss your particular requirements and quote accordingly.
