The Black Barn
The Barn is a restored, but essentially original, 17th Century building, situated in the village of Stansted in Kent. It is located in the heart of the village, next to the picturesque church of St Mary. The Barn is an exceptional venue for events of most types, but especially;

Around 100 people can be seated for a meal while still allowing enough room for a dance area. The following facilities are offered;
- Kitchen (we can advise on good outside caterers if required)

- Crockery, cutlery and glassware all available for hire
- Background heating system
The surrounding area consists of unspoiled countryside with grass meadows and woodland - yet we are only 25 miles from Marble Arch in London! The setting of the Barn, gardens and surroundings provide a lovely setting for your wedding photographs.
Hiring and Charges
The Barn is family-owned and run, and we offer a friendly and flexible service. We encourage you to see the barn as a blank canvas for your event and we are happy to discuss your particular requirements and quote accordingly.
We are always pleased to discuss ideas with you and can help you find caterers and so on. Caterers we have worked with and can highly recommend include:
Availability
Weekends - 8am to 11.30pm on Saturdays and 11am to 11.30pm on Sundays.
Weekdays - evening only (6pm to 11.30pm) for parties; all day for conferences etc
The garden may be available during the day on request and for an additional charge.
